TOWN SCHEDULES PUBLIC FORUMS FOR SCHOOLS AND STATE OF THE TOWN ADDRESS

The Town of Amherst has announced two public forums to be held in the coming weeks.

Forum on Amherst Public Schools

The School Committee will hold a public forum to address items relevant to the public schools on Monday, November 25th at 6:00 p.m. in the Town Room in Town Hall as mandated with Section 4.2(e) of the Town Charter

“Public Forum: The Chair of the School Committee shall call at least 1 public forum a year to address items relevant to the public schools. The public forum shall present the public with context, alert the public to upcoming issues, and collect feedback from the public.”

State of the Town Address

The State of the Town Address will be held on Monday, December 2nd at 6:30 PM at the Amherst Regional Middle School Auditorium. Town Council President Lynn Griesemer and Town Manager Paul Bockelman will deliver the address.  The full program is as follows:
