Gallery A3 announces an open call for artists for its 10th Annual Juried Show to be held August 7–30, 2025. Submissions accepted online May 19–June 21, 2025. An Opening Reception will be held on Thursday, August 7, 5–8:00 p.m., and a free, online Art Forum, open to the public, is scheduled for Thursday, August 21, at 7:30 p.m.

This year, the theme is United We StandArt for Divisive Times. “In these divisive times, art can ask questions and suggest answers—and help us stand together. Whether your take is satirical tongue-in-cheek or sincere heart-in-hand, here is an opportunity for you to speak through art,” explains show coordinator Paula Hite. “We are looking for work that may be overt commentary, thought-provoking, healing, contemplative, timeless, or contemporary.”

Gallery A3’s Annual Juried Show offers local and regional artists an opportunity to exhibit their work in a downtown Amherst gallery. In turn, it gives the community a chance to see work by artists well-known in the area along with the opportunity to discover others who may be exhibiting for the first time in Western Massachusetts. The juror, Billy Myers, is the Artistic Director and Curator of the Art for the Soul Gallery in Springfield.

Guidelines for Submissions
Artists are invited to submit images May 19–June 21,with fees of $38 for three entries, $7 for one additional entry, maximum four entries per artist. Artwork must be no wider than 26 inches. Jury results will be posted online on July 8, and accepted art should be delivered to the gallery August 3 and 4. For more on how to submit work, see the gallery website: www.gallerya3.com
