Fire destroyed our 100 year old 6000 square foot farm store barn in Granby on February 17, 2024, destroying not only the barn which included our entire retail store & csa distribution area, but also all of our retail sales supplies that we had collected over the last 23 years, and certain farm production supplies as well that were stored in the barn wings and basement areas.

Insurance money is going to only cover about 1/4 of the the value of the lost tools / supplies and the cost to rebuild, so we are trying to save all the insurance money and cash donations to earmark for a replacement building.  Meanwhile we plan to make a temporary store using sheds and tents so that we can resume on farm produce and plant sales for the 2024 season.  If you have any of the items in surplus listed here that you can donate or sell at a discount, we would much appreciate them.  For larger items especially, please check with Ryan before dropping off items.  We also can arrange to pick things up with our truck. For other ways to help Red Fire farm’s recovery look here.

Thank you so much for your support of Red Fire Farm during this difficult time.  To see more about the fire and other ways you can help see our website at www.redfirefarm.com  .We hope you never have to go through a disaster such as this.  You might want to review and increase insurance coverage on structures on your property.
