  1. In 2011, early on a foggy January morning on our way to register for art classes at Hill Institute, just before we crossed the Coolidge Bridge, there was a willow tree covered with hoarfrost. It was breathtaking! Sadly, there wasn’t an opportunity to stop for a photo, but I’ve never forgotten the beauty of that icy silhouette. For years, I watched the willow tree and hoped for another moment of beauty, but the tree has since been cut down. Thank you for capturing these fleeting moments of winter beauty.
