Amherst Dessert Crawl Brings Sweet Treats to Downtown on March 28

An afternoon of sweet treats and downtown exploration awaits at the Amherst Dessert Crawl on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 3:00–6:00 p.m. The event invites community members to sample desserts from participating businesses while discovering the shops and restaurants that make up downtown Amherst.

Guests will receive a wristband that grants access to dessert samples at participating locations throughout downtown. The event will also include a scavenger hunt, where participants can complete fun challenges for the chance to win prizes donated by local businesses.

Tickets are now on sale for $25 for adults and $15 for youth (12 and under). Event wristbands must be picked up on the day of the event at the Amherst Visitors Information Center at 35 South Pleasant Street.

“The Dessert Crawl is a great way to bring people downtown to enjoy a variety of sweet treats while spending time in Amherst,” said John Page, Executive Director of the Downtown Amherst BID. “Events like this create a fun and creative experience for the community while also driving activity and supporting our local businesses.”
