DPW Will Rally Thursday for Fair Wages and Full Staffing

The Amherst DPW Association will hold a rally on the Town Common on Thursday, March 19, at 5:30 p.m. to demand fair wages and full staffing. Since the last rally on March 2, DPW workers have been working without a contract for more than seven months. The Town Manager has returned to the bargaining table, but over two negotiating sessions has failed to provide a counteroffer to the union’s proposal. The public is invited to join the rally and show solidarity with the town’s DPW workers.
