The UMass women’s basketball team upset #1 seed Dayton, 62-56 in the championship game of the A-10 tournament on Sunday (3/6) in Wilmington, Delaware to win the A-10 tournament and an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament. It was the Minutewomen’s first A-10 tournament title in program history and will be their first trip to “the big dance” in 24 years. UMass never trailed in the contest.
