APEA Endorses Candidates for Amherst School Committee and Town Council

The Amherst-Pelham Education Association’s Representative Council hasconsidered candidates who were seeking endorsements for the upcoming local election on November 4th and has issued the following list of endorsements on October 25, 2025.
For School Committee

For Town Council
- Allegra Clark,
- Ellisha Walker,
- Jillian Brevik,
- Vincent O’Connor,
- Amber Cano-Martin,
- Jason Dorney,
- Patrick Drumm.
The APEA sought candidates who will advocate for safe and equitable schools, a fair and sustainable funding system, and racial and gender justice. The APEA feels confident that these candidates will be open to listening to community concerns around schools, and aim to partner with educators who bring experience and expertise to their work with youth every day.

We can hope that this list, from an organization dedicated to the health and safety of our children’s education, holds some sway with Amherst voters.
