It’s time to donate books and think about helping with culling, sorting, and curating for the League of Women Voters Amherst’s  Annual Giant Book Sale.

Donations: 
41 Russell Street, Hadley, in the Village Shops next to the Hampton Inn

Important Dates:
Collection begins on Thursday, July 2, and continues every day, through Sunday, July 12 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., with the exception of July 4.

Sorters are welcome to drop in 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. July 2- July 21 and July 23, with the exception of July 4.

Restrictions:
Donate gently used books, CDs, and DVDs.  Please, no vinyl, tapes, cassettes, magazines, reference books, or textbooks.

Sale Dates: 

Sale dates Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, July 24-26; Saturday and Sunday, August 1 and 2

Volunteers:
Volunteers are needed for culling, sorting, and curating (organizing the categories into sub-categories. Come once or come every day to see old friends, make new ones, have fun together, grab a snack, and take home a FREE book each time you volunteer.  

Volunteers: no need to register in advance: just come to 41 Russell St. in Hadley. No need to commit to a day or time—just work when you can, as long as you can. All book-lovers welcome! You do not need to be a League member to volunteer.
