The Town of Amherst will receive an increased allocation of the COVID vaccine from the state and will soon make appointments available at our public COVID-19 vaccination clinic for the week of February 1st. Those in Eastern Hampshire County in Phase 2, who are aged 75 and over will be eligible for the clinic, in addition to all groups from Phase 1. Limited doses will be available at this time, but we aim to hold additional weekly clinics as more doses are supplied.

Additional vaccination clinics will be scheduled as vaccine is received from the State.  Due to limited state vaccine supply allocated from the Federal Government clinic scheduling is limited at this time. When we know the details of planned clinics, we will broadly communicate the information through the Town, the Senior Center, and other communication channels.
