The Town of Amherst will receive an increased allocation of the COVID vaccine from the state and will soon make appointments available at our public COVID-19 vaccination clinic for the week of February 1st. Those in Eastern Hampshire County in Phase 2, who are aged 75 and over will be eligible for the clinic, in addition to all groups from Phase 1. Limited doses will be available at this time, but we aim to hold additional weekly clinics as more doses are supplied.
- Registration links, dates and times will be posted after 11:00 AM on Monday, February 1 on our vaccine page: www.amherstcovid19.org/vaccine
- All eligible individuals must schedule an appointment in advance for the vaccine clinic at www.amherstcovid19.org/vaccine once times have been posted.
- The vaccination clinic will serve eligible Eastern Hampshire County residents, primarily the communities of Amherst, Belchertown, Granby, Hadley, Hatfield, Pelham, South Hadley, and Ware. The clinic will be held at the Amherst Regional High School located at 21 Matoon St. in Amherst, MA 01002.
Vaccine also may be available from other clinics within the State, we encourage you to review the Interactive Map for Massachusetts Vaccine sites here.
Additional vaccination clinics will be scheduled as vaccine is received from the State. Due to limited state vaccine supply allocated from the Federal Government clinic scheduling is limited at this time. When we know the details of planned clinics, we will broadly communicate the information through the Town, the Senior Center, and other communication channels.
