School Committee Schedules Second Forum On Moving Sixth Grade To Middle School

The Amherst School Committee will host a second public forum to discuss and seek feedback on the possible move of the sixth grade to the Middle School. The forum will be held on the evening of September 21. Only seven residents participated in the first public forum (on August 31). The second forum will include a presentation and be followed by an opportunity for comments and questions. The meeting is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The forum will begin following school committee announcements and is expected to commence around 7:15. The full agenda can be accessed here.
