Absentee And Mail-in Ballots

The deadline for obtaining absentee and mail-in ballots has passed. All absentee and mail-in ballots must be returned to the Town Clerk’s office by 8 p.m. on November 2. Ballots may be dropped off on Monday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or on Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. There is also a drop box on the Main Street side of Town Hall. Ballots may be mailed to the Town Clerk at 4 Boltwood Walk, Amherst, MA 01002, but must be received by Tuesday at 8 p.m. Ballots mailed from overseas will be counted if they are received by 10 days after the election and were postmarked on or before election day.

Absentee and mail-in ballots cannot be returned to the polling sites, and once you have turned in your ballot you cannot vote in person. All absentee and mail-in ballots must be signed on line #1.

You can track your ballot to see if it was accepted by the Town Clerk here.
