The League of Women Voters of Amherst will host a timely presentation by CUNY Law Professor Matthew Charity addressing The Role of Race in Voting Rights and Education on Tuesday September 26 at 7:00 p.m. on Zoom. The presentation is part of the Judy Brooks Conversation Series.

Charity previously served on the faculty of Western New England University in Springfield in the areas of international law and human rights. He also chaired the Amherst Human Rights Commission which works to insure that no person, public or private, shall be denied any rights guaranteed pursuant to local, state, and/or federal law. Public questions and comments will be discussed following his talk. All are welcome to register for this online program. Look here for the Zoom link.
