Town Will Celebrate The Year of the Dragon February 17

Join the Human Rights Commission and the Office of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion as we welcome in the year of the Dragon. Learn about the origins and traditions of  Spring Festival.  Enjoy a Dragon dance and other traditional Spring Festival dances and songs. There will be activities for all and lunch will be provided by our favorite local restaurants.

10:30 a.m.  The origin and traditions of Spring Festival, Dr. Lily Soh
11:15   a.m.  Dragon dance and other traditional Spring Festival dances and songs performed by East Culture, Inc. 
12:00 a.m.  Reading of the 2024 Spring Festival Proclamation read by Amherst Town Council
12:15  p.m.  Lunch provided by our favorite local restaurants
