The Indy is Going on Vacation

The Indy will soon go on vacation and will not publish between December 26 and January 14. There will be no Saturday email dispatch on January 3 or January 10. We’ll be back with new content on January 15 and with a new email dispatch on January 17..

We will post new content through Christmas Day and ask that any new content that you send us for publication before the break be submitted no later than Tuesday December 23 though earlier is better. We will be including our usual end-of- the-year features such as Indy by the Numbers, Editors’ Book Picks, and Photos of the Year in our December 25 “issue”. So this week is a good time for readers to collect your end of the year thoughts and send them to us as letters, opinion pieces, and features, keeping in mind the December 23 deadline.

There will likely be a lot going on in town while we are away including the induction of a new Town Council and should any of you decide to write about it (and we encourage you to do so) please send us your reporting, your opinion pieces, and your letters, etc., and we’ll endeavor to post them expeditiously, once we are back. We will not be able to keep our events calendar up-to-date during our absence but we can add items through December 25 and will begin updating the calendar again on January 15. So if you have a January event that you’d like us to post, please send it along to the above address and we’ll add it before we head out.
