The Amherst Regional Public Schools invites the community to kick off the new school year at the annual First Day Celebration on Monday, Aug. 24, from 4:30-6:30 p.m at Kendrick Park on East Pleasant St. 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. will be a sensory-friendly hour with no music or amplified sound. Whether you’re new to the Amherst Public Schools or returning for another great year, we can’t wait to celebrate with you.
