Amherst Public Health Department Hosting Vaccine Clinic

AMHERST, MA – The Town of Amherst Public Health Department will be hosting a vaccine clinic offering Flu and COVID shots on Thursday, October 22 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at the Bangs Community Center (70 Boltwood Walk).

Registration is highly recommended as there is limited walk-in availability.
Vaccines are available for all Massachusetts residents ages 6 months and over. Pfizer COVID-19 vaccines and Flu vaccines, including both regular-dose and high-dose options, will be available at the clinic. The 2026-2027 flu vaccine has been updated to protect against three seasonal influenza strains and is recommended for everyone aged 6 months and older. The COVID-19 vaccine has also been updated for 2026-2027 and is available for individuals 6 months and older. Vaccines are free, however please bring an insurance card if you have one. No one will be turned away due to lack of insurance.
This vaccine clinic is being organized in collaboration with the Northampton Department of Health and Human Services through the regional Public Health Excellence grant.
