Twelfth Annual Amherst Block Party, September 18

Amherst’s 12th Annual Block Party, is set to take place on Thursday, September 18, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on North Pleasant Street in Downtown Amherst.

This year’s event will feature an exciting lineup of live music and performances showcasing local talent and captivating acts. Attendees can look forward to aerialists, acrobats, stilt walkers, jugglers, and a variety of street performers that will delight audiences of all ages. 

In addition to the entertainment, local restaurants and retailers will line both sides of North Pleasant Street.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone to Downtown Amherst for an evening of joy and community,” added John Page, Amherst BID Executive Director. “Our local businesses are the heart of this event, and we’re excited to see the community come out in full force to support them.” 

This event is organized annually by the Amherst BID in partnership with  the Town of Amherst, Amherst College, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
