Amherst BID Launches “Take the Pledge” Campaign To Support Downtown Businesses

The Amherst Business Improvement District (BID) announced on Wednesday (10/7) a new campaign to support downtown businesses, many of which are struggling because of the protracted pandemic.   The Amherst BID invites the public  to “Take The Pledge” to support local, shop local, style local, take away & save the day. 

Between now and December 31, save receipts from 10 local restaurants, 5 retail and 3 services or salons, check off the Take the Pledge list, and return to the Amherst Downtown BID at 35 South Pleasant St. Amherst, MA and you will be entered to win prizes from $100 – 500 in Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce Gift Cards.

Addition information can be found on the BID web site.  website and will be available in print at downtown businesses and in take-out bags from restaurants and eateries.
