  1. Congratulations to Jeff Lee for contributing the 5000th article. And to Art and Maura, enormous thanks for the Indy. To quote its mission statement: β€œ The Indy aims to promote effective, vibrant, participatory democracy in Amherst by supporting transparency in Amherst government and governance. ” It has created a much needed forum to listen and learn from each other.

  2. yes, congrats to Jeff Lee and also to Art and Maura. Where else can I read heart-warming articles about interesting goings-on in my region/town such as this https://www.amherstindy.org/2024/01/19/french-night-a-community-celebration-of-francophone-culture/
We live in complex times where it is impossible to feel confident of what is going on – and if any of us can truly make a difference/make the world a better place – and online magazines like the Indy are really important. Thank you! Hetty
