Amherst Welcomes New CRESS Director

The CRESS department welcomed its new director, Camille Theriaque, on April 8.  The community welcomed her on April 25 with a reception at the Bangs Center.  The reception was well-attended, with community members; CRESS responders; Fire and Police Department representatives; members of local community services including the Amherst Survival Center and the Wildflower Alliance; town councilors; town staff from the DEI, Health, and town manager’s offices; members of the League of Women Voters; and members of town boards and committees including the Community Safety and Social Justice Committee and the Board of Health. Theriaque and members of the CRESS department conversed with attendees about community outreach, data collection, and collaboration with dispatch.
