The following letter was sent to the Amherst Town Council on May 5, 2026.

Questions:

  1. Is there a place where town residents can follow the workings of the Amherst DPW Committee?
  2. The  DPW Building Committee website posts links for Agendas, Minutes, Packets, and Recordings, but except for agendas, they are all empty.
  3. Is there a reason why meetings cannot be at least audio-recorded, so those who cannot attend mid-day meetings can be informed?

Also there have been several communications about these questions addressed to members of the DPW Committee and to Town Hall with no responses.
