Ideas for Redeveloping South Amherst School Will Be Presented in Zoom Forum

As a follow up to the public visioning session held last June regarding possible uses for the South Amherst School at 1001 South East Street, consultants Joy Squared Architects, in partnership with town staff, will offer a concept presentation about possible uses for the school and architectural styles. The Zoom presentation will reflect community input, zoning considerations, existing physical features of the building, and housing needs.
Join this concept presentation to explore architectural concepts applicable to the historic school building and learn about the unique benefits and tradeoffs of each option. Help shape the future of the South Amherst School building!
