We’ve had the privilege to work with Jennifer Page on several projects, and, as parents of children in Amherst elementary, middle, and high schools, we strongly endorse her for the Amherst Regional School Committee.

Jennifer has tremendous empathy, determination, and ability to think critically. She is very thorough in her background research, taking the time to ask difficult questions and to fully examine each issue. She actively seeks out and carefully considers numerous viewpoints, not just of those who are the most outspoken. Her professionalism, collaborative spirit, and commitment to solving problems makes her a solid team player dedicated to getting the job done with thoughtfulness and care.

Jennifer will be a valuable asset, bringing extensive experience and effective leadership. Her work serving on multiple boards for community groups and nonprofits and her analytical acumen means the school committee will benefit from a highly organized and savvy member who will hit the ground running.

When it comes to hearing every voice in our community, it is not enough to simply agree such a thing is a good idea. Real action must be taken to effectively glean the viewpoints and concerns of those who have been historically muted or underrepresented. Creative outreach to understand the whole picture is crucial.

Jennifer is a longtime supporter of our school district’s educators and will advocate for policies that will empower them. Her ability to organize and forge strong lines of communication paired with her fearless position of maintaining an independent voice will go far in achieving this goal.

Jennifer brings a lot to the table with her long history of giving back to the community.  She is willing to ask the tough questions, is committed to transparency, and will break the status quo. Jennifer Page will be a driving force in furthering and expanding upon the good work of our school committee.
